I THE PROBLEM a) Students wasting their time attempting to gain an education Getting a certificate in some area that is totally uninteresting. Working at something which is a constant struggle. b) Parishioners watching a decaying world go by while waiting for their “call”. Or wondering what is their “passion”. c) Old and dying unable to let go and pass on peacefully. d) Grieving people who can’t tolerate sorrow so they have an artificial “celebration of a life” e) Post abortion families who cannot mourn the loss of a preborn baby. f) Post neglect...

Hope Alive and Physics

Introduction Every new idea is put forward tentatively, tested as a hypothesis, tested some more and if meeting certain criteria it is promulgated more widely as a theory for all to consider, debate, refine and use to discover more truth. Hope Alive has been in printed form for 12 years, used, tested, published as a book, manual and scientific paper. Now it needs a wider audience. But first, does it meet basic criteria. Does Hope Alive have internal consistency? Yes. Does it have predictable outcomes? Yes. Does it agree with other accepted facts? The best established facts are in physics....

Men’s Hearts Failing for Fear

Jesus said that in the later days just before He comes back to earth, men’s hearts would fail from fear. (Luke 21:26) “The courage of many people will falter because of the fearful fate they see coming upon the earth, because the stability of the very heavens will be broken up” I don’t believe this is an allegorical statement. Philip G. Ney MD Pioneer Publishing, 17/11/09 Reasons for ignorance: 1) Willful ignorance. “I could know but I dare not because I would then have to change.” There is no knowledge without the appropriate action of putting what you know into action. 2) No opportunity? I have been among the Sawi of Irian Jaya who until 1962 were living in the Stone Age. They were a tribe of headhunting cannibals who pillowed their heads on the skulls of their victims. They live in fetid swampland inhabited by crocodiles, poisonous snakes and leeches, having no contact with the outside world....

CHAOS FROM IGNORANCE OR FACING HARSH TRUTH: Part II

Posted by on Sep 18, 2009 in Philosophy | 0 comments

Philip Ney, Pioneer Publishing, 16/9/09 Introduction As in part I, these are essential issues where the choice is to ignore or to know. God is declaring Himself because He wants humans to know Him. Although He “veils” Himself to protect us, as it where from sunburn, he makes His creation amazingly easy to understand. Like God, His creation is declaring itself. Then why has it taken s so long to discover what little we know now? The same answer will apply as in part I. Because humans usually choose to be ignorant. They choose not to know because they realize, what they discover...

CHAOS FROM IGNORANCE OR FACING HARSH TRUTH: Part I

Revised Lecture given at the Euro parliament, Wednesday, September 23 2009 Philip Ney, Pioneer Publishing 10/9/09 Introduction The universe is flying apart. Entropy rules. One way or the other, humans on planet earth are doomed. To ignore the facts is ignorant. It only adds to the naturally occurring chaos that is destroying the universe. The expression of the universal chaos among humans is their persistent propensity for ignorance and murder. A few see this and dedicate their efforts toward finding truth and peace. Yet the majority of people choose to believe whatever makes them feel...
