onboard a ship (Victoria):

The
Eco-Training is a combination of Level I Hope Alive
training in intensive group counselling and learning
a more precise appreciation for the marine environment.
The training will take place aboard the 85' schooner
Horizons Unbound sailing less familiar parts of the
Straight of Georgia and Puget Sound and learning nautical
skills. The schooner is equipped with modern navigational
and safety devices, stoves, showers, clothes washer
and dryer, refrigeration etc. The marine environment
includes eagles, whales, bears, oysters, salmon, majestic
mountains and waterfalls, deep fiords, sandy beaches
and brilliant sunsets. The group counselling training
is designed for those who have been damaged by childhood
mistreatment and pregnancy loss, particularly abortion.
It is experiential and practical. People who are mature,
insightful, empathetic, and who will accept, live
and practice by the Mount Joy College Statement of
Faith, My Declaration for Life Ethics, and the Commitment
to Professional Conduct are encouraged to apply.
