I do not believe we will answer the question of whether aborted babies go straight to heaven when they are murdered, by searching the scriptures. There isn't enough direct or indirect reference to go by. So let me try logic based prepositions that most Christians accept.
1. When interpreting the bible, use all of it. It has remarkable internal consistency.
2. If there is no direct reference, use the principles found in as many scriptures as possible. e.g.. I can't find any reference to pot smoking but plenty about not damaging or defiling the temple of the Holy Spirit. Since God is not a figment of our imaginations, His truth is more likely to make us uncomfortable rather than comfortable. Thus beware of the tendency to accept as truth, ideas that allow us to be lazy.
3. God created humans to all become His best friends. Thus He gave each person choice. Choices are seldom if ever "free" They are weighted by factors over which an individual has little influence. This makes us invariably responsible for each other.
4. God who is 3 in one, created humans in His image, 3 in one, body soul and spirit.
5. There is no 1 to 1 correlation between the age of the body and the maturity of either soul or spirit. Thus preborn people may be more spiritually mature than an elder. "and a little child shall lead them".
6. Although He longs to have everyone at His side, God never forces any one into hell or heaven before they have a chance to choose. They go either place because of their choice. Thus no one, born or preborn automatically goes to heaven or to hell.
7. God makes sure choices are preserved by: hiding from the arrogant, revealing Himself to the childlike, damaged, incomplete, demon possessed and incapacitated, enticing the curious, etc. "Unless you become like one of these [childlike] you will never enter the kingdom of God."
8. Birth and death are transitions. No one becomes a person at either juncture. From their individual creation until eternity ends, they remain a person.
9. God, though extremely generous, never wastes anything He creates. I believe that in our new body all our genetic material will be used.
10. No one who is not saved, regenerated, made holy in God's sight could exist in heaven. The power and purity of heaven would zap them on the spot.
11. No one who does not have a born again spirit, infiilled by God's spirit, renewed mind [personality], and completely rebuilt body can survive in heaven.
12. All of 10 and 11 can only be done in Christ and through His sacrificial atonement.
13. God will not save any one who has not chosen to accept His Christ and been made His child.
14. There is no other way, no other person than God's anointed Son.
15. Salvation is gift given only to those who admit their need and desire to be saved by Jesus, God's anointed Holy One.
16. Every person of every age, race and culture needs to be saved.
17. If a person does not choose salvation and life in Christ, they are choosing eternal alienation from God, which is damnation and hell.
18. No one who does not hear the gospel can choose this good news, that means they have no choice. Unless they have a choice they are not accountable. Therefore Christ in love and justice will make sure everyone will hear His salvation. He will not return until His gospel is preached in every nation and in every tongue. [When and how no man can tell. However since time is irrelevant to God, Christ is probably still preaching in wherever He was preaching the gospel to those who died before He died to save them.]
19. Since we cannot know 18 for sure, there is no 2nd chance. We must believe and behave as if this life gives us the only chance we have to know Christ. This belief gives this life a very special meaning. It means our responsibility for ourselves and each other, especially for our children is awesome.
20. Because we are tightly rapped together in this bundle of life, we one person sins, we are all affected.
21. When one person turns to Life in Christ, we all rejoice; angels included.
22. When one man sinned, Adam, all mankind died. The whole universe was plunged into entropy and thus without being recreated, cannot last. Thus all people are born in Adam's original sin. This means they are born imperfect and cannot enter heaven without being perfected. They can only be perfected in and through Christ who had no sin.
23. In addition to not being perfected, each person who has a choice to respond to the gospel and does not but ignores God's Spirit who is prompting them, has thus chosen to rebel against God and becomes an agent of the Antichrist who committed the original sin of rebellion against God.
24. Human heterosexual couples, through the act of sexual intercourse may be made by God to conceive a child who is loaned to that couple but is always the Lord's.
25. Every couple is strongly advised by God to dedicate each and every child to Himself and to commit each child, with no exceptions no matter how small or immature unto the Lord for His safe keeping. In doing so they must trust that the Lord will call, guide, accept and keep each of these children. I believe He will.
26. Having been loaned a child for a season, every couple must welcome each child, get to know them individually, name them and use their God given responsibility to do all they can to guide that child to Jesus, God's Anointed One so that child may find his/her true home in heaven.
27. The choice of parents to lead a child to Christ or away from Him, fundamentally but not irreversibly affects that child. Not every mother in Salaam brought their child to Jesus for a blessing. By the influenced choice of parents, some children come to know Him early, [what an amazing blessing] and some are murdered.
28. Having recently been created by God in the womb of a mother, children should have no difficulty recognizing Christ who calls to them at the request of their parents, i.e. are committed to Christ.
29. When Jesus severely warned His followers not to hinder children being brought, introduced, guided to Him, that meant not saying it isn't necessary to bring, introduce, commit children to Him. There are severe penalties attached to hindering children from knowing and having faith in Christ.
30. We cannot know for sure but there is no indication that parental responsibilities abruptly ends when a child dies. For example parents must bury the child's body and even plead with the Lord to return life to that child like the parents of Christ's time as God/human on earth.
31. Intuitively and for peace of heart, humans know that in any situation of uncertainty with God, it is better to be safe than sorry. Since we can't know when God holds a child accountable, we should err on the side of caution and dedicate and rededicate our growing children to the Lord.
32. In 3 of 4 gospels it is recorded that Jesus who is God's Christ, committed His Spirit for safe keeping into the hand of His Father and God.
33. Although Christ felt utterly abandoned by God, i.e. visited hell and knows what that feels like, His faith in His father was not in vain and that God kept Him and brought Him back to His eternal home.
34. Since that time, all Christendom has likewise committed the spirits of their dear and recently departed into the keeping of God with the same faith that He will keep all those who come to Him, having been brought by their parents, even when physically dead, to the feet of Christ for forgiveness and blessing. Just like the mothers of Salem did in His day.
35. If a child has irresponsible parents who won't or can't welcome their children or bring them to Jesus, Christians should recognize, welcome and adopt them into their family and as surrogate or God parents, commit them to the Lord.
36. Since we are all part of the bundle of life, we are all part of and are affected by each child's murder. For this God will hold us accountable.
37. All those who have no knowledge of the gospel and thus have no choice to accept or reject God in Christ are innocent of rebelling but are nonetheless imperfect and need salvation thru Christ.
38. People who dedicate their live welcomed children and commit their dead welcomed children to God often report deep peace in doing so.
39. Those who welcome then commit children as surrogate or God parents report a joy in so doing. They can't all be wrong and there is little evidence they are faking it.
40. We must keep pursuing truth, beautiful and harsh, for He will set us free.
So, if these truths are self evident and the logic that connects them is correct, then we must welcome then commit the spirits of preborn, murdered children to the Lord who is their salvation and home. He will surely bring them to safe harbour. We must confess our sins to God if by neglect or abuse we have not done so and if by ignorance we have kept others from committing their children to Christ. We must keep searching the scriptures and in prayer to know the mind of Christ in these matters. Yes, may the mind of Christ be in all of us.
